Graduate Study Scholarships
Union Graduate College Scholarships help provide affordable education to students of modest means and academic excellence. These scholarships, many of which are funded by Union Graduate College Alumni, have made -- and continue to make -- a difference in the lives of our students. Because more than 75% percent of students receive some form of financial assistance, providing ample financial aid is essential to maintaining the college's reputation for academic excellence and value.
School of Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships
A limited number of one-year and/or partial year tuition scholarships are available for qualified full-time students. A limited number of stipends are also available. Most scholarships and/or stipends are associated with department assistantships or completion of a master's thesis as part of the qualified applicant's plan of study to complete his/her degree program.

Graduate School Scholarships
MAT Scholarship: A limited number of program fellowships or fee remission scholarships are available from the program. Other students who qualify based on financial need may receive some assistance in the form of tuition reduction through the graduate program. Application forms for graduate MAT assistantships are available from the School of Education office.
The Harriet and Roscoe L. Williams '30 Endowed Scholarship: In memory of Harriet and Roscoe L. Williams, whose lives of dedication and service enriched schools and communities in the Dutchess County, Adirondack and Albany’s Capital District regions of New York State. The Williams family supports scholarship assistance to highly qualified MAT graduate students preparing for careers in classroom teaching and educational administration in New York.

Merit Based MBA Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded starting in late April and are awarded as long as funds are available.
Full Time Graduate Students
Full-time MBA degree program students are automatically considered for scholarships and need not fill out a separate scholarship form. As long as funds are available, scholarships are given based on academic achievement (GPA) and GMAT results.
Union Graduate College students are expected to maintain excellence to maintain scholarship status. Accelerated BS/BA/MBA students who wish to qualify for merit scholarships should take the GMAT regardless of their grade point average at Union College. Scholarships cannot be awarded while still a Union College student.
Part-time MBA Students
Students pursuing the MBA on a part-time basis will be considered for merit scholarships based on that portion of their tuition not reimbursable by an employer. Tuition waivers will be awarded during April and August. Students interested in being considered for part-time financial aid must inform the Director of Graduate Admissions and Registrar in writing and submit a copy of their employer’s tuition benefits policy.
International Students
International graduate study students will be considered on an individual basis for merit-based scholarships.
Financial Aid requires the completion of a FAFSA form.

My pharmacy degree gave me a strong clinical background, and the MBA provided a deeper understanding of the business metrics and processes. My first job out of the program was in an area of healthcare where the combination of clinical and business knowledge and experience proved invaluable. It was a rigorous program, but one that has paid off – and continues to do so.
