MBA in Healthcare Management
Our Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management program lays the foundation for executive careers across the healthcare spectrum-in public, private, and government institutions. Our students graduate with an extraordinary combination of business and healthcare-related skills. As a result, they are uniquely equipped to play a role in shaping the future of healthcare.
Accredited by AACSB and CAHME.
The Union Graduate College MBA in Healthcare Management is one of only a handful of programs nationwide to earn accreditation from both the
Association to Accredit Collegiate Schools of Business and the
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education,
formerly the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Service Administration (ACEHSA).
A network that gets results.
Mentorships, internships, and class projects connect students with leaders in their chosen field and often result in career opportunities. Within three months of graduation, most students have positions with organizations such as Aetna, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Quest Diagnostics, NYS Department of Health, Albany Medical College, St. Peter's Hospital, Ernst and Young, Pricewaterhousecoopers, Community Care Physicians, Capital Care Medical Group, and Albany Health Associates.
Customized to meet your interests-and your schedule.
Students work with an experienced healthcare faculty advisor to select electives that reflect individual interests and career goals. Scheduling is flexible, with rolling admissions, full- and part-time options, day and evening classes, and individualized study plans.
A rich learning environment.
Our MBA in Healthcare Management program promotes ethical business practices and collaboration among individuals of diverse backgrounds. Faculty members are experienced and remain active as researchers and consultants. They also are supportive and accessible. Small class sizes foster an intimate, team-oriented culture.
Putting theory into practice.
Our students graduate with an understanding of healthcare business theory and with experience in applying that theory in the marketplace. They also benefit from an MBA program that is continually evaluated and adjusted to keep pace with changing business drivers.
